Today we live in dangerous times and with the onset of riots, burglaries, robberies, rapes, etc. we believe that every law abiding citizen should be trained and proficient in protecting yourselves & those around you. This goes for self defense measures, situational awareness training, how to react to an active shooter or aggressor, and so much more! Deadly Force should be your absolute last resort but situation will always dictate the next step. When you live in a world that you never know what to expect around the next corner it is good to practice a constant situational awareness to live with the mindset of “expect the unexpected.” When you live with that mindset then you are already halfway there. Here at Until Valhalla we believe that no one person is truly ever the best that they can be and by living / practicing that way one will become more & more proficient. We train both on an individual basis as well as group settings. We are constantly creating new classes & instruction for both the inexperienced as well as experienced in real life situations. We train church safety teams, individuals from beginners to experienced. We here at Until Valhalla are also always becoming "the student" by taking part with other instructors so that we can not only provide excellent experience for ourselves but also so that we can provide the absolute best and most top notch training for our students!
SC Concealed Carry Permit course. Class is 8 hours and includes overview of SC concealed carry permit laws, the do's and don'ts pertaining to carrying a concealed or open carry firearm pertaining to the new SC H3094 open carry with training act within, and all necessary paperwork . If you have not fired a firearm before a basic pistol course and 1 on 1 training will be required prior to taking the course. Cost for the course is $70 and student will be required for the $11 range / target fee. Eye / Ear protection and firearm rental can be provided for additional charge. All material will be provided along with snacks, water, soda and coffee for no additional fee. 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure your seat.
Class that offers mixture of home defense safety measures, firearm safety, and Eddie Eagle youth safety. This course includes classroom as well as range time to hone your skills.
Over view of firearm safety laws within SC. This service is at a low cost if you have already attained your Concealed Weapons Permit within the state of South Carolina and have gone through the training with us at Until Valhalla!
This course is set and designed for the person who wants to become a NRA certified Range Safety Officer. This certification will allow the person to become certified to work on a range as well as some firearms manufacturers. Cost for this course is $125 and requires a minimum of a 50% deposit to secure your seat.
Private 1 on 1 instruction which will teach you the fundamentals of shooting along with proper techniques. Cost is $35 for the first half hour and $15 for every half hour after that. Student is responsible for payment of range time & targets. Eye / Ear protection and firearm rental is available for additional charge.
If you are a female and pregnant we can not do live fire due to health situations with the fetus. But we have other means using laser systems to help teach.
This course is designed by the NRA and will assist the new rifle shooter with the fundamentals of shooting, rifle selection, nomenclature of all rifles from bolt action - semi automatic - and AR 15 platforms. This course is designed also to assist the student to become a NRA Rifle Instructor. Cost is $100 and covers all material. Minimum of 50% deposit is required to secure your seat in the class.
This course is designed by the NRA for the new shooter or for someone who wants to become an instructor. Cost covers all materials, class, and range fees. Cost does not cover eye/ear protection or firearm rental if necessary. Cost is $125 and requires a minimum of 50% deposit
This course is designed to help the average citizen on how to properly respond to an active shooter or aggressor. This course was designed by a retired Columbia PD SWAT & Gang Task Force Supervisor. Cost is $20, seating is limited so payment is required in full in order to secure your seat in the course.
This course is designed to assist the concealed carry permit carrier the proper techniques in shooting from the concealed carry. This course is designed to teach the shooter how to present, shoot, cover vs concealment, shooting on the move, multiple targets, and more.
This course is designed to teach the shooter how to properly perform target acquisitions on the move and from a stationary platform. teaches combative techniques with reloads, setting up proper techniques, and more
emergency medical course, this course is all about saving lives using field medicine, or ‘dirt medicine’, techniques. Carried by military personnel, law enforcement officers, outdoors enthusiasts, first responders and prepared citizens, the IFAK is a key element in providing life saving medical care to yourself or someone else. This isn’t about splinting bones or putting on band-aids, this is about ‘Stopping the Bleeding and Starting the Breathing.’ The equipment in these kits continues to be effectively applied in emergency situations with increasing frequency across the nation by law-enforcement personnel and citizens alike. Don’t be the one sitting on your hands in an emergency – learn how to be a life saver!
Course options include receiving course instruction and an IFAK or just receiving the course instruction. This may be helpful if there are multiple people in your home / office / agency that will be using the same IFAK.
8 Hours of Instruction Includes:
This full day course will focus on concealed carry skills to include close quarters shooting, positive target identification and emergency medical techniques (stop bleeding/start breathing), along with how to carry the appropriate tools daily. The day will culminate in live fire and UTM scenario-based training. All UTM gear and ammo included in tuition.
